Frontier delisted from Nasdaq

Frontier Airlines has been removed from the Nasdaq Stock Market as a result of its recent filing under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.

The airline has not opposed the decision and will suspend the trading of its stocks from the opening of business on Tuesday, April 22.

Frontier will also submit a Form 25-NSE to the Securities Exchange Commission to remove its securities from Nasdaq listing and registration.

This follows a Staff Determination Letter sent from Nasdaq to Frontier informing the airline that it will use its discretionary authority to delist securities from the exchange.

Frontier announced its Chapter 11 filing at the end of last week, but has assured passengers that operations will continue as normal.
