Hawaiian adds flights to Manila

Hawaiian Airlines launched its first nonstop service from Honolulu to Manila in the Philippines yesterday (Monday, April 14).

To celebrate the new flights, Hawaiian is offering introductory round-trip fares of $499 (excluding taxes) for passengers who book and buy before May 31. The new services makes Hawaiian the first U.S. airline to provide a direct service between the two cities and is the carrier's first venture into Asia.

Flights to Manila will operate from Honolulu International Airport on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, departing at 12:30pm to arrive the following day at 5:15pm (local time).

Return services will leave Ninoy Aquino International at 7pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays to arrive in Honolulu at 11:15am (same day).

Mark Dunkerley, President and Chief Executive of the airline, said: "Hawaiian Airlines has a long and distinguished record of landmark achievements in its eight decades of service and our new flight to Manila is the latest in many more to come."
