New restaurant at Portland International

Passengers traveling through Portland International Airport (PDX) will be able to sample organic beers at the recently-opened Laurelwood Public House & Brewery.

A beer tasting and ribbon-cutting event was held at the new Concourse E restaurant yesterday afternoon.

Exclusive to Portland, the pub will serve organic beers and ale, as well as meals made from local produce from Oregon's farmers. The drinks menu includes Organic Free Range Red and Organic Tree Hugger Porter, with dishes such as Oregon Country Beef, Draper Valley Chicken and Carlton Farms Pork also available.

Chris Madsen, General Manager of Portland Aviation Business and Properties, commented: "We are extremely happy to welcome Laurelwood to PDX.

"Not only does this addition reinforce our program's commitment to bring the finest of local food and beverage to the airport, but it gives our travelers the opportunity to enjoy all of the good things this popular Portland establishment has to offer."
