Continental to host frequent-flyer poker party

Continental Airlines is offering passengers the chance to win 21 million frequent-flyer miles as part of a celebratory poker tournament.

The carrier is to host a four-day Texas Hold'em event at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas to celebrate the 21st anniversary of its OnePass frequent-flyer program.

Top customers have been invited to take part in the event and will compete for the grand prize, placing bets with OnePass miles.

Mark Bergsrud, Senior Vice President - Marketing Programs & Distribution, said: "We look forward to providing this exciting opportunity to our loyal customers to celebrate the 21st year of our OnePass program.

"Continental's OnePass program has rewarded passengers with travel bonuses, seat upgrades and preferred customer benefits for more than two decades and we look forward to continuing this service for many years to come."

Registration for the game is limited and the entry fee is 50,000 OnePass miles. Members of the program can find out more and register for the tournament at www.continental.com/onepass/news.
