Delta's new Hartford-Cancun nonstop
Here's the premise: airlines don't fly their fleets as much on weekends, especially on Saturdays. Jets busy ferrying business travelers about during the week are freed up for other pursuits on the weekend. To that end Delta Air Lines is now offering Saturday-only nonstop service from Hartford's Bradley International Airport down to Cancun (CUN).
The conveyance is a full-sized Boeing 737-800, not a regional jet (which, in this case wouldn't possess the range for the route anyway).
The southbound flight departs BDL Saturdays at 10:40am, and is scheduled to arrive CUN at 1:47pm. The northbound flight departs Cancun at 2:40pm, and is scheduled to get to Hartford at 7:33pm.
Note there are a couple of temporary gaps in the schedules, periods in which the nonstop Connecticut-Cancun Boeings won't fly. There's no service between May 25 and June 20, nor are there any flights from August 17 through November 21.
