Horizon marks 25 years in Boise

Horizon Air is marking 25 years of service to Boise Airport in Idaho by offering passengers the chance to win flights.

Over the next week, Horizon employees will dress in 1980s-style costumes and invite customers to take part in nostalgic games.

Retro-theme quizzes will carry prizes of two round-trip tickets for any Horizon flights. Terms and conditions apply.

The 1980s-inspired games and costumes will commemorate the airline's arrival at Boise on May 15, 1983. Since the introduction of two daily flights to Pendleton, Oregon, Horizon has extended its service to 25 daily flights from Boise.

Direct flights operate to nine destinations including Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, and San Jose.

Dan Russo, Director of Marketing and Communications, at the airline, said: "Boise is one of the anchors of our Pacific Northwest route system and has been vital to our growth as we've expanded service from the city into northern and southern California."
