Continental Airlines' BusinessFirst Eurosale

For just a moment, forget about fuel prices, route cuts and such. Fixate instead on sitting up front, in Business Class, with a glass of good wine catching a glimmer of the morning sun as your flight begins its approach to your favorite European city. Now, imagine that the perch you occupy costs a couple of thousand dollars, round-trip.

Continental Airlines is selling seats in BusinessFirst just now, and the each-way rates start at $899, exclusive of taxes and fees. Know that you'll have to make a round-trip buy to get them.

Continental is offering a couple of tiers here - a 30-day advance purchase, and a 14-day. We're quoting the former. That's where the deepest discount airfares are. Book and buy at least 30 days in advance of departure, travel outbound between June 29 and August 29 (July 12 through August 29 for France), and complete the trip by September 5.

There's a Saturday-night stay entailed for all non-Saturday night departures, and if you do leave on Saturday, you'll have to stay over at least seven days. These provisos make these discount airfares more attractive to leisure travelers, and less so to the there-and-back business flyers who have to change plans on a dime.
