Se Habla Southwest? WN’s new Hispanic campaign
With lots of its flights emanating from California, Arizona, and Texas (its home base) it makes sense that discount airline Southwest is launching a new advertising campaign aimed at the Hispanic market. It’s called "Relax!" and the premise is to reinforce Southwest’s pitch that it provides friendly, affordable, worry-free travel.
The advertisements are going to be running on a number of major Hispanic outlets: Univision, Telemundo, and Azteca. The approach will be much like other Southwest ads: funny, yet real, situations travelers face before embarking on vacation. Humor has traditionally been a hallmark of Southwest’s ad campaigns.
Among the things Southwest is working hard to get across in these days of fuel-driven fees is the premise that it doesn’t charge for things such as second bags, bags of snacks, or fuel surcharges. Thus its "Fees Don’t Fly With Us" campaign.
One of the prime reasons Southwest is able to eschew those fees is its sophisticated fuel-hedging program, which has kept the carrier operating in the black for years, even now when much of the industry is struggling.

That's great Southwest is campaigning for the Hispanic market. Now, how about Southwest come over to the Hawaii market? I honestly believe they would do good in the Hawaii market. When two or three of their flights was co-shared with ATA, we want that route back.
Help out the Hawaii market, because we need a strong airline here.
