Delta and ExpressJet end flights pact

Delta Air Lines has announced the end of its regional flights venture with ExpressJet. All ExpressJet Delta Connection services will stop on September 1.

ExpressJet currently operates flights from Los Angeles and Salt Lake City; these routes will be moved to another Delta Connection carrier.

Don Bornhorst, Senior Vice-President of Delta Connection, said: "We are pleased to be able to reach a mutual agreement on the termination of our partnership with ExpressJet.

"While we expect minimal impact to customers, Delta will work to ensure that alternate transportation options are arranged as quickly as possible."

Customers whose travel plans will be impacted by the change will be notified by Delta and offered alternative arrangements or a refund if flights are cancelled.
