US Airways switches terminals in Toronto
Head’s up if you’re headed to Toronto Pearson International (YYZ) on US Airways. The carrier has switched terminals. They used to be in Terminal 3, and now they’re in Terminal 1. The idea is to put US (that’s the carrier’s code) in the same place as other Star Alliance carriers. That makes for easier connections.
The main check-in counters for US Airways are on the Departures Level at Aisle H, conveniently close to the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol entry point. Pearson is one of a number of key airports in Canada that allow you to clear Customs in Canada, and thus avoid having to go through the process back in the United States.
If you’re looking for the exact check-in position for your flight from Toronto to the United States, consult the flight information displays. They’re located throughout the Departures Level.

This has been so for about a year. Wonder why this has come up now?
