Alaska, Horizon payment card misuse
Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air have notified around 1,500 customers who were affected by payment card misuse by a former call center employee.
Between August 2006 and June 2008, rather than process the payment on behalf of Alaska or Horizon, the employee processed the change requested but diverted the payment to a personal account.
Affected customers are encouraged to review their relevant payment card statements to ensure there have not been any unauthorized transactions.
They may also contact their payment card issuer or bank, order a free credit report or take other action.
In addition, they may contact Alaska and Horizon at (800) 401-5403, between 8:00am and 5:45pm (Pacific time) Monday through Friday.
