American offers low-fare lift to the Islands
Ever since Aloha and discount airline ATA went away earlier this year, airlift to Hawaii has suffered. Seats have been scarce. Now, some good news. American Airlines is running a discount airfare sale to the Islands just now, with deals starting as low as $307, each-way.
All the discount airfares quoted below are each-way, and they entail a round-trip purchase. That’s important to remember when budgeting your trip to paradise. Taxes and fees are not included in these quotes. They’re extra.
More restrictions: you’ll have to purchase your tickets at American’s Web site (www.aa.com) 21 days prior to departure, or within one day of making your reservation, whichever comes first. There are some day-of-week considerations you’ll want to know about too. These discount airfares are good for flights Sunday through Friday, and the travel window itself is August 19 through November 16.
Here’s a sampling of the savings American Airlines is offering to Honolulu, from:
- Atlanta (ATL) $337
- Baton Rouge (BTR) $357
- Savannah (SAV) $357
- Indianapolis (IND) $357
- Huntsville (HSV) $357
- Houston Hobby (HOU) $357
