Several U.S. cities are being evaluated for Emirates' growing route network.

Tim Clark, President of the Middle Eastern carrier, told reporters that airports being considered include Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas Fort Worth, and Washington.

This comes after Emirates' inaugural flight to the U.S. landed at New York's JFK Airport on Friday (August 1).

Starting August 8, Emirates will operate its New York to Dubai route every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Later this year, the carrier will start serving Los Angeles (October 16) and San Francisco (December 15).
