Direct Air to Fly from Niagara Falls to Florida

Direct Air (Web site: www.visitdirectair.com) is to start nonstop flights between Niagara Falls International Airport (Web site: www.niagarafallsairport.com) and Charlotte County Airport (Web site: www.flypgd.com) near Punta Gorda, Florida.

The new service, which begins on December 5, will depart from Niagara Falls twice a week, on Fridays and Mondays, Buffalo News reports.

It will replace last winter's Direct Air service to St Petersburg, also in Florida.

Ticket prices for the new Niagara Falls-Charlotte flights range from $99 to $169 each way.
