Discount Airfare: American Airlines’ London Savings

Looking for low fares to London Heathrow (LHR)? American Airlines has them, with rates starting as low as $263 each-way, exclusive of taxes and fees.

Purchase your ticket at American Airlines’ Web site (www.aa.com), no later than October 15. Then, fly out October 2 through October 28. Complete the trip by November 27.

Buy your seat at least seven days in advance of departure. You’ll have to fly on off-peak days. Transatlantic to Heathrow, that means Monday through Wednesday. Be ready to stay over at least one Saturday night. All these restrictions render these discount airfares less attractive to there-and-back business flyers.
