Discount Airfare: American Airlines’ Sale
Fall is fast approaching, and American Airlines is putting a slew of seats on sale to underscore the fact, offering each-way discount airfares as low as $59.
Purchase your ticket at least ten days in advance of departure, or within one day of making your reservation, whichever comes first. All the discount airfares quoted below are each-way, but you’ve got to make a round-trip buy to get them. That’s important to remember when planning your trip. So’s this: neither taxes nor fees are included. They’re extra.
Fly on these discount airfares on off-peak days - Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. The deals are valid all the way through January 28, 2009. The Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday periods are blacked out. As for minimum stays, depending on destination, you may have to stay over three days, or one Saturday night.
