Kingfisher Airlines to Reduce Planned U.S.-India Flights
Kingfisher Airlines (Web site: www.flykingfisher.com) has decided to cut the numbers of its services between the U.S. and a href="http://www.cheapflights.com/flight-guide-to-india/" target='_blank' >India, it has been revealed.
The Indian carrier, which entered the international air travel market just last week, still plans nonstop flights starting November, but not daily.
A senior executive at Kingfisher Airlines told Livemint.com: "We had originally planned to start daily nonstop flights connecting Bangalore to San Francisco.
"Now we will restrict that to three or four flights a week for the time being."
Kingfisher Airlines started services between London, England, and Bangalore last week, on September 3.

Kingfisher, British Airways , Virgin and Indian should start daily London Amritsar flights and break the monopoly of Jet Airways on this route. Currently Jet charges double the normal fare on this route due to high demand. Instead of making a loss by competing on already well served Indian cities to London such as Banglore and Bombay, they should start Amritsar London route where there are so many passengers and not enough seats.
