Travelocity Launches Hotel Sale
Travelocity (Web site: www.travelocity.com) is offering sales on hotels, vacation packages and cruises starting November 15.
The Race to Savings program runs until January 15, 2009, for hotel stays and vacation packages, and until December 2009 for select cruises.
Jeffrey Glueck, Chief Marketing Officer of Travelocity, said: "A lot of consumers have been in limbo about their travel plans given the economy and news about high travel costs, but this sale truly offers a great opportunity to get back out traveling.
"Our hotel and cruise suppliers have really stepped up to the plate for customers by offering amazing discounts in top destinations around the world."
Some of the discounts (based on single occupancy) are 47 percent off stays at Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya in Cancun, 40 percent off at the Regal Sun hotel in Orlando, and 35 percent off at the Blue Moon hotel in Miami.
