Changes to Caribbean Flights From New York Area

There have been a number of changes to flights from the New York area to destinations in the Caribbean, but passengers still have many options.

Newsday reports that American Airlines has 45 fewer weekly flights from LaGuardia International Airport and John F Kennedy International Airport, and is no longer operating flights out of Newark.

Continental Airlines, too, has cut 22 services a week to the Caribbean from Newark.

However, JetBlue has increased its number of flights, adding 16 more services a week from JFK to the Dominican Republic. In addition, the carrier is increasing the number of flights to San Juan.

Meanwhile, Delta Air Lines is to start new flights from JFK to Bonaire this winter.
