L'Avion’s New Services on New York-Paris Route

French airline L'Avion (Web site: www.lavion.fr) has announced a number of new services for passengers traveling to Paris from New York.

The carrier has opened a new lounge at Terminal B in Newark which offers customers fast-track security and free wireless internet.

A mobile information service has also been launched to allow passengers access to flight details via a handheld device or iPhone.

The Plane Take Away application can be downloaded free from m.lavion.com and offers tips on where to go and what to do in Paris.

These improved services were announced after the airline revealed its load factors for the past three months. Flights were 79.8 percent full and had a punctuality rate of 98 percent.

Marc Rochet, President and Chief Executive of L'Avion, said: "Our success in the current economic conditions confirms that our innovative product still remains attractive to customers and that the demand continues to grow as we expand.

"Our partnership with OpenSkies, the new subsidiary company of British Airways, allows us to develop our offer to our customers with a broader range of services, amenities and choices between two airports in New York."
