More Support for Salt Lake City-Tokyo Flights
More funding has been given to the promotion of nonstop Delta Air Lines flights from Salt Lake City to Tokyo.
Officials from the state Board of Tourism Development approved $400,000 to advertise new Japan flights.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports that this is a route Delta has said it is considering after the success of its Salt Lake City to Paris services.
Last week, the Governor's Office of Economic Development (GOED) allocated $250,000 to help promote the route.
