TAM, Air Canada Start Codeshare Agreement
Brazilian carrier TAM (Web site: www.tam.com.br) and Air Canada have entered into a codeshare partnership that will come into effect next month.
The new agreement will allow passengers on both airlines to benefit from simplified plane reservations, convenient connections on a single airline ticket, and check-in of luggage through to the final destination.
Travelers on Air Canada will have access to six Brazilian cities (Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Recife, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba and Porto Alegre) on codeshare flights offered by TAM which depart from Guarulhos International Airport in Sao Paulo.
Meanwhile, TAM passengers will be able to connect from Toronto to Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Montreal, and Quebec.
