Toronto Pearson International Reduces Landing Fees

The Greater Toronto Airport Authority (GTAA) has announced that it is reducing landing fees and terminal charges at Toronto Pearson International Airport.

Landing fees will be reduced by 0.4 percent and terminal charges will be 0.6 percent less after the changes are implemented.

Effective from January 1, 2009, this is in addition to a 25 percent decrease in all-cargo landing fees announced earlier this year.

Lloyd McCoomb, President and Chief Executive of the GTAA, said: "We are very conscious of the state of the aviation industry and I am proud of the work of all GTAA staff that has allowed us to reduce fees for the second year in a row.

"We believe it is important for airports to do what they can to offer savings to the airlines."
