Virgin America, Barclays Offer New Visa Card

Virgin America (Web site: www.virginamerica.com) and Barclaycard U.S. (Web site: www.barclaycardus.com) have teamed up to provide a new Visa card that premium Visa Signature services, rewards, and amenities and has no annual fee.

Customers can register for the card on the Virgin America Web site and start earning points on the carrier's loyalty program, Elevate, from October 23.

Members can use their card to earn three points for every $1 spent on Virgin America flights and on all purchases, such as films, snacks, and cocktails.

As a special bonus, customers who apply by November 30 and use the card by January 31, 2009, will have an opportunity to earn a free one-way ticket.
