Air Canada to Start Nonstop Montreal-Geneva Service

Air Canada has announced that it is to start a new nonstop service between Montreal and Geneva.

Two daily flights from Montreal to Geneva will begin on June 1, 2009, and return flights from Switzerland to Canada will start operating the next day.

On both journeys, flights will continue to/from Toronto. The first service will leave Toronto at 6pm to land in Montreal at 7:19pm. Flights will then take off at 8:45pm and arrive in Geneva the next day at 10:05am.

The second service will begin at Toronto at 12:15pm and arrive in Montreal at 2:30pm. From there, flights will take off at 4pm and land in Geneva at 5:19pm.

Daniel Shurz, Air Canada's Vice-President, Network Planning, said: "The introduction of the only nonstop service between Montreal and sister city Geneva is great news for customers traveling on business, including international organizations, as well as for leisure."
