AirTran Airways Makes Changes to Business Class Upgrades

AirTran Airways has announced that it is making changes to the way passengers can upgrade from Economy to Business Class.

Travelers who check-in online can upgrade their tickets for between $49 and $99 one-way, depending on the duration of the flight. Or, if there are seats available in Business Class after take off, passengers can request an upgrade from one of the flight attendants.

Tad Hutcheson, Vice-President of Marketing and Sales for AirTran Airways, said: "By adding these new innovations, AirTran Airways is striving to always create value for our customers - even those who want to see the Business Class product before they purchase. Now they have the opportunity to do just that."
