American Airlines Adds PayPal Option to Web Site

American Airlines (AA) has announced that it is offering customers the option of buying their tickets on the carrier's Web Site via PayPal.

Passengers can now buy their tickets using their credit card, debit card, bank account, or PayPal account balance. Purchases are fast as well as secure, since customers do not have to re-enter any financial information.

The option is free and is available to customers in the U.S., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Derek DeCross, Managing Director of Interactive Marketing for the carrier, said: "American Airlines is committed to offering customers more choices and convenience when they purchase travel on AA.com.

"PayPal certainly fills that bill since it gives customers several options in funding their online purchase, and it allows them to pay in a secure and expeditious manner."
