Looking for wintertime savings and live in the Pacific Northwest? Consider what Alaska Airlines and partner Horizon Air are offering: each-way discount airfares as low as $49 exclusive of taxes and fees.
Purchase your ticket by November 24. Then, fly December 3 through March 11, 2009. There’s a 14-day advance purchase attached to the seats except for Mexico, where there is no advance purchase requirement. There are blackout dates, and they’re arrayed around Christmas and in the middle portion of February.

- Seattle (SeaTac) to San Francisco $64
- Portland, OR to Las Vegas $99
- Seattle (SeaTac) to Minneapolis/St. Paul $109
- Seattle (SeaTac) to Anchorage $209
Seats, as you might expect, are limited at these discount airfares – and subject to availability. These discount airfares are also non-refundable.
