Discount Airfare: Air France Business-Class Deals
It’s rare that airlines put Business Class on sale with this kind of advance-purchase proviso: just seven days. That’s precisely what Air France has done on a slew of routes from the United States to in-demand European destinations. Some of these each-way discount airfares sell for as little as $1,451, exclusive of taxes and fees.
These discount Business-Class airfares are good for travel November 22 to November 28, and December 21 to January 2, 2009, prime time for holiday travel. That too is unusual. One of the reasons why airlines are selling premium seats at a discount these days could be the sharp fall in corporate travel. Another is that corporate flyers tend to take the holidays off, and not make a lot of business trips. Whatever the reasons, travelers, especially leisure travelers, stand to benefit by these deals.
All the discount airfares quoted below are each-way, and they’re predicated on a round-trip purchase. That’s important to remember when budgeting for the trip. Even though this is Business Class we’re talking about, these discount airfares are non-refundable.
