Discount Airfare: South African Airways Flights from NY, DC

South African Airways (SAA) (Web site: www.flysaa.com) has announced that it is offering discount fares for passengers traveling to Johannesburg from New York or Washington D.C.

Ticket prices start at $999 for round-trip travel and are inclusive of all taxes and surcharges.

Available from now until December 5, the sale fares are valid on tickets booked for travel between November 15 and March 31, 2009.

In addition, there are no charges for food, beverages (including alcohol), blankets, pillows, or in-flight entertainment.

Marc Cavaliere, Executive Vice-President, North America for SAA, said: "After financial bailouts and election-day stress, it's time for Americans to celebrate the end of the election season by escaping to South Africa on a deal with no hidden fees, and to a place where the dollar is strong and can buy you an inexpensive, yet unforgettable experience."
