Fine Dining at Atlanta International Airport

You don’t need to be a first-class flier to experience fine dining and cocktails. If you booked a cheap flight from Atlanta, start your travel in first-class with drinks and dinner at the new upscale restaurant “One Flew South”, now open at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International (ATL) in the International Concourse E.

As airborne eats have either evaporated or become buy-on-board, airport restaurants have been ascendant. They’re better, and more plentiful, than ever but few reach the heights of “fine dining.”

Have a nice glass of Pinot with your shrimp tempura, or enjoy some Merlot with Georgia braised pork and spinach paradelle. Treat yourself to some white chocolate crème brülée before you board your next flight.

The menu was put together by five-star chefs Duane Nutter and Todd Richards – formerly of the Oakroom at Louisville’s Seelback Hotel.

Need a cocktail before your flight from Atlanta? Enjoy a mix from the restaurant’s “Salute to Aeromarine” drink menu. The spirits are circa the 1920s, when Aeromarine Airways ferried wealthy flyers ‘twixt Nassau and Havana in fabled flying boats, making these delights legal during the age of Prohibition.
