Discount Airfare: Southwest Airlines' Deals to Florida from Baltimore

About this time of year Baltimore/Washington (BWI) can begin to turn a bit blustery. That's why Florida beckons as hurricane season fades and goes away for another year. Flee the Beltway for a while and take advantage of discount airline Southwest's $79 deals to a trio of Florida destinations.

Book and buy online at the Web site (www.southwest.com) no later than midnight (Central Time) Monday, November 3. Then, fly November 7 through February 12, high season down in the Sunshine State. There are some blackout dates, and they - not surprisingly - are arrayed around the holidays. You can't fly at these $79 discount airfares November 20 through December 2, nor December 18 through January 4, 2009. The rest is fair game.

All these $79 discount airfares are one-way, and do not include taxes or fees. As with all Southwest Airlines fares, there's no need to make a round-trip purchase.
