Air Canada picks up Best In-Flight Service prize

Air Canada's in-flight service has been voted number one by readers of Business Traveler magazine.

Apart from winning the title of Best In-Flight Service for North America, the carrier also picked up the Best Airline for Business Class Service in North America and Best North American Airline for International Travel gongs.

Results of the 20th annual survey of readers were announced at an awards ceremony in Los Angeles on Thursday December 11.

Ben Smith, Executive Vice-President and Chief Commercial Officer of Air Canada, said: "We're thrilled that Air Canada has been selected by some of the world's most discerning, well-travelled executives as the best airline in North America for our in-flight services, our business class product and for international travel.

"We have been receiving extremely positive feedback from customers on the new additions to our fleet and the major enhancements we've made to our in-flight amenities and travel experience in general. This award is testament to the hard work of Air Canada's employees to offer our customers a superior product."
