American Airlines Reopens MIA Flagship Lounge
American Airlines (AA) has reopened its flagship lounge at Miami International Airport (MIA). The First Class lounge will primarily serve passengers traveling on international flights to destinations across Europe, Asia and South America.
First Class passengers on American's transcontinental flights will also be able to use the lounge, which is located on Concourse E.
Passengers can use the lounge between 4:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. daily. Complimentary drinks and a buffet food menu is available in the lounge, as are shower facilities and free wireless Internet connections.
George Hazy, Vice-President of Miami Operations for American, said: "American Airlines is delighted to offer the quiet, comfortable retreat of a Flagship Lounge here in Miami.
"When going to, from or connecting between international destinations in South America, Central America, Mexico City, Europe, and Asia our lounge is the perfect place for our premium customers to enjoy some relaxation."
The carrier operates similar facilities at four other airports including Chicago O'Hare and Los Angeles International.
