AirTran to Launch Columbus-Fort Lauderdale Flights

As things stand, if you want Columbus flights to Fort Lauderdale, there’s just one way to do it direct: discount airline Southwest flies from CMH to FLL, but the majority of those flights make a stop en-route, according to Official Airline Guide www.oag.com.

Now comes word that discount airline AirTran plans to launch the only non-stop Columbus flights to Fort Lauderdale beginning March 5.

The daily non-stop AirTran flight leaves Columbus at 4:03 p.m. and arrives Fort Lauderdale FLL at 6:43 p.m. The northbound flight departs Fort Lauderdale at 1:45 p.m. and is scheduled to arrive Columbus at 4:25 p.m.
