Discount Airfare: Qantas Sale Down Under

If you've been dreaming of traveling down under for the trip of a lifetime, you're in luck: Qantas is offering cheap flights to Australia with one-way flights from San Francisco (SFO) or Los Angeles (LAX) to various Australian cities for $380 – exclusive of taxes and fees.

The $380 flight puts in Qantas economy class from LAX or SFO to Sydney (SYD), Melbourne (MEL), or Brisbane (BNE).

You must travel between Feb. 1 and Sept. 21. The each-way discount airfare on New York City flights to any of those three cities is $480, again exclusive of taxes and fees.

Although Qantas quotes these rates for one-way fares, to get them you’ll have to make a round-trip purchase.
