We've been reporting for months that travel is increasingly becoming more affordable, and now there's more discounts to be had. If you've been vying for a vacation in New York, a spa getaway in Arizona or a dip in the ocean in Miami, your options just got better, and cheaper.

Rest your head at a Loews Hotel this winter and get your choice of discounts, thanks to a special promotion from the hotel.

Loews Hotels is offering travelers who book rooms through April 12, 2009, the choice of either incremental food and beverage credits, a special golf package or a room upgrade that includes two poolside cocktails at Loews Hotels beachfront properties.

Here's a breakdown of the deals:

- Book Loews Best Available Rate and receive incremental food and beverage credits toward room nights, beginning at $50 for a two night stay; $100 for three nights; $150 for four nights; $250 for five nights; $300 for six nights and up to $500 for a seven-night stay. Room rates vary by location and start at $139.

- If golf is your game, book the one-night special with round of golf for $299 single or $399 double occupancy at the Loews Hotels golf resorts in Las Vegas and Arizona.

- Stay at a Loews Beachfront Resorts and receive an upgrade to a full or partial ocean or bay view room, plus two cocktails served poolside. Rates start at $209.
