Mileage Merger - Delta, Northwest Link Frequent Flyer Accounts
If you’re a member of both Delta SkyMiles and Northwest WorldPerks, you're one step closer to a free flight. The airlines just announced they are merging their frequent flyer programs.
You can now link your Delta and Northwest frequent flyer accounts, and transfer miles between those accounts, at no charge. Link the accounts before March 15 and get and get 500 bonus miles.
It's simple to merge the two online at www.delta.com or www.nwa.com. Transfer any number of miles into either account, and do so on an unlimited basis.
Both the SkyMiles and the WorldPerks accounts remain up and functioning until late 2009, when Delta Air Lines intends to merge the two programs into what the carrier contends will be “One best-in-class loyalty program for members in 2010.”

Charles,
The best thing is to call the airline that carries your miles and have them look up your account. You can find a list of airlines and contact information here: http://www.cheapflights.com/airlines/
