JetBlue Drops Salt Lake City-Las Vegas Flights

Say 'so long' to non-stop Salt Lake City -- Las Vegas flights. JetBlue plans to drop the desert run on April 30, according to JetBlue spokeswoman Jenny Dervin.

JetBlue’s exit from the Salt Lake City (SLC) – Las Vegas (LAS) run leaves lots of lift on the in-demand transdesert run from competitors.

The move leaves discount airline Southwest and Delta Air Lines to handle the demand. Both carriers fly frequent non-stops on the relatively short route, and Delta's Salt Lake City hub leaves plenty of options for travelers in the area.

JetBlue says flyers booked for Salt Lake City – Las Vegas after April 30 can either connect via Long Beach (LGB) or get a refund on their ticket. In addition, JetBlue customers with confirmed seats on the discontinued flights will also receive a $25 voucher.
