USA3000 to Resume Cleveland-Clearwater Flights
Here’s the silver lining in the current economic mess: the price of jet fuel has gone way down, which means lower airfares for consumers and more flight options for airlines.
Consider discount airline USA3000’s decision to resume non-stop Cleveland flights to St. Petersburg-Clearwater (PIE) starting May 1.
USA3000 yanked the flight in August 2008, when the cost of jet fuel hit record-high levels.
In a prepared release, Cleveland Airport Director Ricky D. Smith says the move “once again proves that airlines have confidence in this airport to resume a once cancelled route.”
USA3000 will fly the Cleveland-Clearwater route five times a week using a 168-seat A320 for the run.
