Discount Airfare: American Airlines International Flight Sale

Summer is flying by, so if you haven’t booked a flight, now is the time to do it.

American Airlines has put several warm-weather destinations on sale for travel next weekend. All you need to do is book a flight at least two days in advance and you’ll be on your way to the Bahamas, Costa Rica and other great places.

Depart anytime between Tuesday, July 21 and Friday, July 24. Return the following Monday or Tuesday. The published fares are each way, based on round-trip travel and taxes and fees aren’t included.

Miami to Freeport, Bahamas from $69
Miami to Liberia, Costa Rica from $219
San Juan to St. Thomas from $108
St. Croix to San Juan from $118
Dallas to Buenos Aires, Argentina from $500

Book these sale fares on American Airlines' Web site by Sunday, July 19.

If you want to fly American Airlines to Europe, your best bet is to visit their Web site (www.aa.com) and search for flights to Rome.

I went to the aa website and cannot find any of these deals. They must be good for one mystery depart date and one mystery return date

Make sure you check the AA promotions site (link is in the post above). We just checked and the fares are there for next weekend travel only.

The rules are pretty finite:
Depart Tuesday through Friday, July 24, 2009. Return anytime the following Monday through Wednesday.
