Alaska Airlines Introduces Non-Stop Service Between Portland and Chicago

Alaska Airlines has announced new daily non-stop service between Portland and Chicago O’Hare.  Plus, if you book a flight by today, Aug. 31, you can enjoy the introductory rate of $99 each way, exclusive of taxes.

The service will begin on Nov. 16 with flights departing from Portland at 10 a.m. and flights from Chicago departing at 4:45 p.m.

The $99 fare is good for travel between Nov. 16 and Jan. 10, 2010. Take note of blackout dates which occur around the holidays. They are: Nov. 20, 21, 25, 28-30 and Dec. 18-21, 23 and 26-28.

With taxes, a round-trip flight totals $219.
