Alaska Summer Extension Sale: Fares from $49 OW

The “Back-to-School” commercials have begun and the days are getting a little bit shorter. We hate it to admit it, but summer is winding down. Alaska Airlines feels our pain and has launched their Summer Extension Sale to several warm weather destinations.

Book flights by Aug. 14. In order to get these sale fares, travel Monday through Thursday or Saturday between Sept. 14 and Dec. 16. Mexico flights are valid for travel daily.

We were able to find the $49 fare from Seattle to San Francisco in September and with taxes the total flight costs $119 round trip.

Sample fares are one way and taxes aren’t included.

Portland to Sacramento from $49
Los Angeles to Los Cabos from $85
Washington, D.C. to Los Angeles from $129
Seattle to Honolulu from $169
Portland to Palm Springs from $119
