US Airways to Put Lie-flat Seats in Business Class

Business-class

Paying extra for a business class airline ticket will soon be worth more than a little more legroom if you're flying US Airways.

US Airways announced it will put lie-flat seats in business class on 15 of its jets later this year.

The "Envoy Suite" will not only feature lie-flat beds, but every seat will face forward and have direct aisle access. In each seat, passengers will have access to universal power outlets and a USB port, an in-flight entertainment system with movies, music, games and more.

According to the airline's website, the Envoy Suite will debut on an Airbus A330-200 aircraft in December 2009 and throughout the entire A330 fleet by summer 2012.

This isn't the first airline that has made changes to its premium cabin in an effort to attract travelers who might for higher fares for better seats. Cheapflights wants to know: Will you pay more for an airline ticket if you know you have lie-flat seats and better in-flight service?
