Alaska Airlines Announces New Flights from Hawaii to California
If you have to leave Hawaii for something, it might as well be California. Alaska Airlines makes it easier to ease you out of your sunny, paradisaical coma by taking you from the gorgeous Hawaiian Islands to the bay area near San Francisco.
Today, the airline announced that it will begin four-times weekly service between Oakland and Kahullui (on the island of Maui), and tomorrow it will announce its three-times weekly service to Kona.
Here’s how the schedule will operate:
As of Nov. 9:
Oakland flights to Maui will leave at 7:45 a.m, and Maui flights to Oakland will leave at 12:05 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
As of Nov. 10:
Oakland flights to Kona will depart at 7:45 a.m. and Kona flights to Oakland will depart at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
All times are local.
Flights are available at alaskaair.com. On board the 737-800, there is room for 16 first-class passengers and 141 one travelers in the main cabin. Hawaiian-themed beverages and meal service will be offered.
