Hilton Launches Seven New Applications for iPhones
According to USA Today, the hotel chain will unveil seven applications for its brands in approximately two weeks, depending on Apple’s approval. Each one will allow users to find hotels in different cities using a GPS technology, and have the ability to book, cancel and change reservations from their devices.
You can also check Hilton HHonors loyalty points.
One of the biggest standout features is the “Request Upon Arrival” function, which is available with select brands, like Embassy Suites and Doubletree. With this function, you can have a meal waiting for you when you enter the room, or make a request for a special pillow, bottle of wine or turn-down service.
The brands that won’t have access to “Request Upon Arrival” are Conrad, Hilton Garden Inn, and Homewood Suites. You will, however, be able to check in up to 48 hours beforehand, and choose from options like bed-type and other amenities.
