Aeromexico is taking you from Cajun to Cancun.
The airline recently introduced daily non-stop flights between New Orleans and Mexico.
Travel dates are not specified, so we tried a few. We weren’t able to find some last-minute dates in June, but had better luck in July and August.

AeroMexico is branching out on its own to provide Cancun flights from Atlanta. AeroMexico’s move doesn’t mean Delta is abandoning ATL – CUN. It will
continue to ply the route from its Atlanta megahub. Both AeroMexico and
Delta are members of the SkyTeam alliance.
Right now, Delta Air Lines uses Delta planes for AeroMexico flights on the Atlanta (ATL) – Cancun (CUN) route. Beginning March 12, AeroMexico plans to fly some of its own aircraft from Atlanta to Cancun, offering travelers another option for vacationing in the popular Mexican beach resort and adding lift to the in-demand destination.

In an era of rampant route cuts, it’s heartening to hear about newly-forged runs – especially when they bring competition to the market.
Welcome to the competition: Aeromexico. The Mexico City airliner will soon offer nonstop flights from Denver (DEN) to the carrier’s Mexico City (MEX) hub. According to Official Airline Guide (www.oag.com), archrival Mexicana is the incumbent on the run. AeroMexico’s new service is set to take wing March 2, 2009.
In early February, AeroMexico plans to become the third airline offering nonstop flights from San Francisco (SFO) to Mexico City. Mexicana and United currently offers San Francisco flights to Mexico City.

Soon there will be two carriers plying the Salt Lake City (SLC) - Mexico City (MEX) run: incumbent Delta Air Lines, and newcomer Aeromexico. Interestingly, both carriers are members of the SkyTeam alliance.
Delta already makes the SLC - MEX trip three times per week according to Official Airline Guide (OAG) (Web site: www.oag.com). DL flies the route Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Aeromexico will fly between the two cities twice weekly, on Thursdays and Sundays. Its flights take wing November 16.
Here's the schedule for Aeromexico's new flight. The southbound trip is scheduled to push back from the gate at SLC at 2:25 p.m. and gets to Mexico City at 7:20 p.m. The return leg leaves MEX at 10 a.m., and arrives SLC at 1:05 in the afternoon.

Mexican carrier Aeromexico has ended its nonstop services from Hermosillo to Tucson International Airport (TUS), leaving the airport without any international flights.
The last inbound flight will be on Saturday, October 11, the same day the new terminal for international flights opens at Tucson Airport, the Arizona Daily Star reports.

AeroMexico is to double its existing service between
Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) and
Monterrey, Mexico, as of October 15.
There will be a total of six weekly flights on the Detroit-Monterrey route, up from the three that began in April.
From October 1, these existing flights will undergo schedule changes, and will leave DTW at 4pm Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, to arrive in Monterrey at 6:45pm.

Aeromexico is to launch a new service between Detroit Metropolitan Airport and Monterrey on April 6. The nonstop service will also continue to Mexico City.
The Wayne County Airport Authority said that flights to Mexico from Detroit Metro will leave on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 8:30am (Eastern Time) to arrive in Monterrey at 11:15am (Central Time). The service will then land in Mexico City at 2pm (Central Time).
Return flights are due to leave Mexico City for Monterrey at 2:15pm (Central Time) on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, before departing again for Detroit at 4:50pm (Central Time) and landing back at the Metro airport at 9:30pm (Eastern Time).

Mexican airline Aeromexico is to launch flights to China. Passengers will be able to fly from Mexico City to Shanghai via a connection at Tijuana when the service commences in March.
A statement from the airline explained that this will be the second service to connect Mexico with Asia, after flights to Tokyo were introduced earlier this year.
Patricia Espinosa Cantellano, Mexico's Secretary of Foreign Relations, visited the Mexican Embassy in China last week to discuss the new link between the two countries. As part of her four-day visit, she said the air service will be the first direct link between Mexico and China, and will serve to increase cooperation between the two nations.
