Allegiant Air Starts Billings-Los Angeles Flights

The people of Billings, Montana, welcomed a sweet new ride to their means of transportation. Allegiant Air began flying the first nonstop Los Angeles flight from Billings Logan International Airport on Friday.

The 150-seat MD80 will fly travelers to/from Los Angeles every Tuesday and Friday.

Airlines Map Out Cuba Flight Plans

Now that travel restrictions to Cuba have eased up, some airlines are starting to put travel plans together for potential U.S. flights to Cuba.

Allegiant and AirTran are the first airlines talking openly about potential Cuba flights. Both low-cost carriers currently offer flights to the Caribbean.

According to Travel Weekly, Allegiant recently entered into contract talks with other airlines to provide Miami flights to Cuba, and hopes to start flying to Cuba as early as June.

Discount Airfare: Allegiant Celebrates Myrtle Beach Flights

Allegiant is celebrating the launch of new flights from Myrtle Beach with a cheap flight sale.

To celebrate the new routes on Allegiant, the carrier has announced that introductory fares will start from $39 each-way (excluding taxes and fees) for Myrtle Beach flights.

Discount flights must be booked by March 28 and travel is valid until Sept. 30 with some blackout periods applicable.

Allegiant Launches Los Angeles Flights

The entry of discount airline Allegiant into Los Angeles (LAX) marks a major shift in discount airfare from Southern California.

Beginning on May 1,the Allegiant plans to launch non-stop MD-80 Los Angeles flights smaller cities across the country, none of which are currently served by non-stop LAX flights (except Monterey, CA). Instead of having to connect for continuing flights to Fargo, Des Moines, and Sioux Falls, to name a few, flyers will be able to catch a flight non-stop flight from Los Angeles.

Allegiant Launches Nonstop Grand Rapids – Las Vegas Flights

Currently, travelers in Grand Rapids wanting Las Vegas flights need to change planes, but as of May 1, that all changes: Allegiant Air announced it will launch twice-weekly non-stop Grand Rapids-Las Vegas flights.

Allegiant Offers Flights to Florida's Punta Gorda

Allegiant Air Starts Tri-Cities to St Petersburg-Clearwater Flights

Allegiant Air has begun a nonstop service between Tri-Cities Regional Airport and St Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport.

Operating twice a week, flights depart from Tri-Cities at 4:35pm and land in St Petersburg at 6:30pm. On the return journey, services depart St Petersburg at 1:55pm and arrive at Tri-Cities at 3:55pm.

Allegiant Air to Fly Nonstop Between Owensboro and Orlando

Allegiant Air is to start nonstop flights between Owensboro, Kentucky, and Orlando from February 18, 2009.
