Cheapflights understands that you’re a fan, unapologetic and uncompromising. The issue is how do you get there?

Cheapflights.com can help. Type in your city of origin, and where you want to go. Cheapflights.com will display all the options – all the rates, all the airlines on all the dates. You’re in control of the deals.

Happy grandma wins luxurious London trip

Vacation EuropeJuana BenRahamim is going to see her grandkids courtesy of Vacation Europe and Cheapflights.com.

“My precious two grandchildren live in Europe, and to have the opportunity to go and visit them…is more than a dream,” says Mrs. BenRahamim.

She’s the winner of Cheapflights.com’s London Vacation Prize package, a contest that saw some 42,000 entries for the Grand Prize drawing.

Mrs. BenRahamim’s entry is clearly focused where it should be - on her grandchildren. But it doesn’t hurt that along with the deal comes a trip for two to London on a major international carrier, seven days’ car rental, two nights’ hotel accommodations at a Hilton, a Rough Guides Prize package valued at $50, and - oh yes - $1,000 spending money. That should buy some ice cream for the grandkids.

Matt dances around the world to wonderful music and against spectacular landscapes. If you have not seen it, then it is worth a look. More than 1.4m people (and counting) have seen it so far. It is something you will want to forward to your friends. Matt, many congratulations from all of us at Cheapflights!

Video humor: Cheapflights' best of British event in Boston

In Boston on July 6, Cheapflights.com held an event to celebrate - belatedly - Independence Day, Cheapflights' heritage as a British company and to ponder the reasons why the British may not be so bad after all. In fact, we were looking for reasons not to hate the British.

At the event we had a band playing British music, comedy from Improv Asylum, the Cheapflights team dressed as Redcoats (and looking silly), and a competition to win a vacation to London (which you can still enter, by the way) and a raft of video cameras.

Here are some lighthearted videos from the event giving reasons not to hate the British (warning - they are a bit silly):

Their culture, a video asking Bostonians what they love so much about British culture.

Their food, a video asking New Englanders whether they have tried Spotted Dick and other japes.

Redcoats and July 4 fun - video humor and Boston event

It’s that time of year, time to celebrate independence. While Americans may have won their political independence from Great Britain, they are very much addicted to British humor. They love it (witness the lineup on PBS).

To that end, a celebration of British humor courtesy of www.cheapflights.com, the British-owned (see, they still do have a presence in Boston, despite the Battle of Bunker Hill) Web site that’s a leader in airfare price comparison.

The event explores Ten Reasons Not to Hate the British. In addition to live music from the Boston band FastTimes, which will be performing hits (and misses) of British bands from the '70s, '80s, and '90s, there will be a troop of comedians from The Improv Asylum on hand to help put the planet into proper perspective.

All this will unfold on July 6 from noon to 2pm at Downtown Crossing (Summer Street) in Boston.
