Qantas adds additional Honolulu flight
Australian flag carrier Qantas will increase the number of flights it operates between Sydney and Honolulu in April.
The carrier’s existing schedule sees three flights a week operate between the cities on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The service will offer a Saturday option for passengers – leaving Honolulu at 10:50am (local time) and arriving in Sydney the following day at 5:30pm. In the opposite direction, flights will depart Sydney at 7:45pm on Saturdays and touch down the same day at 9:30am.
John Borghetti, Executive General Manager of Qantas, said the increased frequency follows high demand for the route.
From April 5, Qantas and its low-cost subsidiary Jetstar will operate nine flights a week between Honolulu and Sydney.
